 LED City has their 120 watt LED HIB retrofit lamp pending approval from DLC making it eligible for incentives for business to retrofit to LED. This 120 watt lamp has comparable lumen output to 400 watt metal halide lamps and the distributor net price is only $199.00.

 

There are many business waiting for January to roll around to replenish the incentive pools so they can get assistance in retrofitting your fluorescent tubes to LED tubes. There are two challenges, in the North Texas area Oncor will not pay incentives for retrofitting tubes unless the business changes out the whole fixture and in most cases these lamps are in 8’ fixtures and DLC has not certified 8’ lamps but I have recently found 8’ vapor tight LED fixtures for under $300.00. Also LED City also has Linear Modular Extrusion (LME) that are pending DLC approval which would easily replace fluorescent tubes and they can be connected end to end forming a continuous row of lights. Priced at $15.00 for a complete fixture makes them a desirable solution.
