Let's have a prosperous 2015!
Helping you to have a prosperous new year:
Now that the holiday season is over it’s time for us to get back to work. We have LED products covering
needs across industries from retrofitting fluorescent tubes and metal halide lighting, industrial lighting
including the hard to find Class 1 Div 1 LED flood lighting at a price below anything else on the market.
We have resources for LED video technologies with the combination of quality and price that is very
attractive.
Taking advantage of the trends in the market:
There is a lot of movement in the market. The obvious business is the conversion from fluorescent,
metal halide and incandescent that for reasons from EPA regulations requiring expensive disposal
procedures, the difference in lifespan, the reduction in heat and energy savings of LED makes this a
prominent trend. Then with there was the move of one of the largest billboard advertisers in the
country from vinyl to digital. This is a no brainer, the revenue generated from a digital LED billboard can
range from four to seven times as more for the marketing company while reducing the cost to the
advertisers by 50% to 75%. Currently there is a challenge with licensing from municipalities in approving
digital signage. This is one of those situations under the guise of safety being used as an excuse for
taxation and regulation but I suggest recommending a form of stamp tax per advertiser for each digital
ad displayed on each digital sign incentivizing municipalities to approve digital billboards that would run
six to twelve add spots every ten seconds could generate significant revenue for these municipalities.
You watch how fast reforms are implemented.
It’s a booming business:
The opportunity for retrofitting to LED is a great business, but strictly looking at the advertising revenues
generated from digital billboards is incredible! Every ten second advertising spot, depending upon the
traffic it is exposed to can generate from $600 to $1,200 per month. If you run twelve adds per sign
$7,200 to $12,200 per month minus regulatory and insurance costs. Even if a sign is the highest quality
and resolution costing over $250,000, the Return on Investment (ROI) would take less than two and a
half years. Imagine any franchise where you would be able to experience ROI in this short of time. I talk
to companies that are still using vinyl because the cost of conversion to digital LED is more than they can
afford. If they make each billboard a business and offer investors a 20% to 30% potential return they
would still double their revenues and anxiously looking for more real-estate to plant billboards. With the
combination of high quality and cost effective LED video wall products we are perfectly positioned to
support this type of business model. Contact me and I will tell you how.
